Stephen J. Campbell, 32, Mount Kisco Native

BEACON, N.Y. -- Stephen J. Campbell, of Beacon and formerly of Wappingers Falls, died on Monday, March 7. He was 32.

Born in Mount Kisco, Campbell was raised in Wappingers Falls and graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School. He worked as a plumber, formerly for Herlihy Plumbing & Heating in Croton-on-Hudson, and most recently, L.B.R. Plumbing & Heating in Croton Falls.

He was a thrill seeker who enjoyed the outdoors, including hiking, fishing and snowboarding. He was also artistic and enjoyed drawing in his spare time -- and he greatly enjoyed his time with his nieces and nephews. "Most of all, Stephen loved Trisha," his wife of less than a year, according to information from the funeral home. "He was overjoyed that they had married and he had big dreams of their future together."

Campbell is survived by his wife, Patricia Morgan; mother Irene (Toth) Campbell of Wappingers Falls; brother Richard Campbell Jr. and his wife Kara; brother E. Michael Campbell; aunts and uncles Violet Manca, and Jacqueline and Clyde Birch; mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary Ann and Thomas Morgan Sr.; sisters-in-law Christina Just and her husband Steven, and April Morgan; brother-in-law Thomas Morgan Jr.; nephew and nieces Dylan, Caroline, Hope, Cameron and Grace; and many cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard Hunter Campbell Sr.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, at the McHoul Funeral Home, 1089 Main St., in Fishkill. A mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 11, at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St., in Fishkill. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery, in Hopewell Junction.
