BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. - Sheila E. Lopez of Bedford Hills died Aug. 24. She was 68.
Lopez was born July 3, 1945, in White Plains, to Louis and Marjorie Lopez. She received her early education through the Bedford Central School system in Bedford and graduated from the Westchester Business Institute in White Plains with a certificate in business administration. She was an employee of the IBM Corporation for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Francis A.M.E. Zion Church, where she was a member of the trustee board for over 20 years.
Lopez is survived by her niece, Christina Lopez; nephew, Thomas Lopez; three great-nieces and one great-nephew; many cousins; and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Louis Lopez, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis A.M.E. Zion Church, 3 Hillside Avenue, Mt. Kisco, NY.
