Kurtz was born on June 23, 1942 in Queens to Charles and Blanche Kurtz, retiring from the NYPD after 20 years of service.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Lorraine, and is survived by his wife Anne Nolan, his children, Ken Jr. and his wife Kate, and Thomas and his wife Adele of Moreau, grandchildren Kenny, Katrina, Karlene, Nolan, Sydney and Addison, siblings Charles, George, Denise, several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are at Clark Associates Funeral Home, located at 4 Woods Bridge Road in Katonah, on Thursday, May 28 from 5 to 8 p.m.
A mass of Christian burial will be at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, located at 117 Valley Road in Katonah, on Friday, May 29 at 10 a.m.
Interment will be private.
