KATONAH, N.Y. – James Matthew Peace died on Thursday, April 2, in Katonah. He was 58.
Peace was born on May 25, 1956, to John H. and Agnes Peace in Eastchester.
He graduated from Scarsdale High School and graduated cum laude from Hofstra University in 1977.
He worked in the advertising and marketing industry, moving to Darien, Conn., to raise his family in 1987.
Peace is survived by his children, James "JT" Trevor (JT) of New York, Kelley of Boston and Ryan Emily (Remy) of Darien, Conn., his mother Agnes Peace of Sleepy Hollow, two brothers, William J. Peace of Katonah, and John H. Peace, Jr. of Hawthorne, and three sisters, Kathy Hope of Huntington Beach, Calif., Ellen Burke of Gayesville, Vt. and Mary Ann Gallant of Chula Vista, Calif.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Pleasantville at 10 a.m., on Saturday.
