Frank Cosentino, 92, Retired From Westchester Colprovia Inc. In Bedford

SARASOTA, Fla. - Frank Cosentino of Sarasota, formerly of Valhalla, N.Y., died Saturday, Dec. 7. He was 92.

Cosentino was born in Valhalla, to Conchetta and Angelo Cosentino. He retired from Westchester Colprovia Inc., Bedford, where he worked for 42 years as a truck driver and in plant maintenance. He was a member of Teamsters Union 456, Elmsford. He was a 60-year member of Valhalla Fire Co. #1 and served as the department chief twice. He was also a peace officer with the Town of Mt. Pleasant Auxiliary Police. He was a member of Hiawatha Masonic Lodge #0434, Pleasantville, and Mid-Westchester Elks Lodge #535, White Plains.

Cosentino is survived by his daughter, Paulette R. Parent of Sarasota, Fla.; son, Frank E. Cosentino (Mary Autorino) of Poughkeepsie; sister, Clara (Anthony) Verano of W. Harrison; sister-in-law, Jean Cosentino of DeBary, Fla.; and a nephew and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Ruth M. Cosentino; brother, Louis Cosentino; sisters, Camille Christensen Carlow, and Edith; and brother-in-law, Joseph Rose.

Calling hours are at 11 a.m. with a 12 p.m. service Monday, Dec. 16 at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave., E, Bradenton, FL 34203. A private interment will take place at a later date.
