PURDYS, N.Y. -- An unidentified woman was struck and killed by a train near the Metro-North station in Purdys on Saturday morning at about 9:30 a.m., according to multiple reports.
The 20-year-old woman was seen by a train engineering jumping on the tracks at the north end of the platform for unknown reasons, according to LoHud.com.
Investigators have said the death appears to be a suicide, but are still investigating the cause, according to News 12 Westchester.
