BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Here's a look at what will be open and what will be closed in Bedford on Christmas, Thursday, a federal holiday.

What's closed:

Schools in the Bedford Central School District are closed for winter recess and will reopen after the new year.
The Katonah Village Library, Bedford Free Library and Bedford Hills Free Library will all be closed Christmas Day.
ShopRite in Bedford Hills will be open Christmas Eve but closed Christmas Day.
The Bedford Diner at 710 Bedford Road is open until 9 p.m. Christmas Eve but closed Christmas Day. The 24-hour diner will reopen Friday.

What's open:

Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours on Thursday.
