In Bedford, residents will be choosing candidates for supervisor, town justice, town board, and county legislator. There are two “one-horse races,” which are for supervisor and town justice. Supervisor Lee V.A. Roberts and Justice Kevin Quaranta are running unopposed.

For the town board, residents will choose between two incumbents and one first-time candidate. Democrats David Gabrielson and Chris Burdick are looking to regain their places on the board, while Luke Vander Linden is searching to take one of their chairs.

Bedford residents will also be voting for District Two county legislator, as democratic incumbent Peter Harckham is up against republican Peter Michaelis.

If you are unsure of which voting district you are in, call the town clerk's office at (914) 666 4534. The polls will be open from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Stay with The Daily Bedford for 2011 election coverage.
