State Police responded at 8:33 a.m. on Sunday, Conway said.

Conway, who is with the State Police barracks in Somers, said the vehicle included a male driver, a female passenger in the front and a boy who was a passenger in the rear.

All three were taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla but the woman's injuries were more severe, Conway said.

It is not known why the vehicle swerved, Conway said. The Goldens Bridge Fire Department also responded, he said.

The concrete wall, which separates I-684 and Route 22, has several green poles that stick up from it to alert drivers.
