BEDFORD, N.Y.--Severe overnight storms left hundreds of Bedford residents without power Thursday morning.

NYSEG is reporting that as of 7 a.m. 1,400 customers had lost electricity. Con Edison says 69 of its Town of Bedford customers were in the dark.  A power outage forced the closure of the Harvey School.
