RFK Jr. Son Conor Kennedy Accused Of Bar Fight Over Homophobic Slur

Former Bedford resident Conor Kennedy, son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, was arrested Thursday following a fight outside a Colorado nightclub while defending a friend who was reportedly subjected to a homophobic slur, according to multiple news reports.

Kennedy's father, a current Bedford resident, told a Colorado newspaper he was happy his son stood up for his friend, reported People magazine.

According to accounts and information from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the 22-year-old former Taylor Swift flame, got into the fight after asking several men to apologize to his friend for using a homophobic slur towards him, said People.

While one man did apologize outside of Bootsy Bellows nightclub, two others continued to use slurs, and another took a swing at Conor, People reported.

An Aspen police officer reported seeing Conor grab another man by his shirt and hit him several times in the back of the head. He is also reported to have briefly struggled with officers while they tried to arrest him, according to the Aspen Times.

Conor was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to jail. He also received a summons to appear in Aspen Municipal Court, said the Aspen Times.
