Grace Kennedy is the most recent resident to report a sighting. She says she saw a cat that was 2-feet tall and  3-feet long walk past her garage in Garrison, LoHud.com reported.

Several reports of a cougar were made near Cold Spring approximately two months ago, LoHud.com said.

Despite the sightings, the Department of Environmental Conservation said there remains no evidence that cougars or mountain lions live in New York, LoHud.com said.
