Bedford Police said in a statement released Sunday morning they were contacted at approximately 9:40 p.m. Saturday through a 9-1-1 call by an area resident reporting a man down.
Officers were met upon their arrival by family members, who discovered the body of the deceased in the side yard of the residence.
The Bedford Police Department Detective Bureau is now investigating the case.
Members of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety forensics unit assisted in processing the scene.

Oak Road is located in between Cherry Street and Lily Pond Lane.
