Bedford Police Report Refers To Blake Lively As Ryan Reynolds' Wife

BEDFORD, N.Y. — Are they, or are they not married? Celebrity news website TMZ reported Saturday that Hollywood couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds may have tied the knot, citing an apparent slip of the pen made by an unidentified Bedford police officer.

On July 8, according to reports, Reynolds told Bedford police that the couple, who purchased a country house in town for more than $2 million in April, noticed a suspicious car parked near their residence that began following them and said he suspected its occupant was a photographer.

According to reports, in a police report filed that day, the officer referred to Lively as Ryan Reynolds’s wife, writing: "Upon arrival I spoke with Ryan Reynolds and his wife."

Although the name was blacked out in the police report provided to TMZ, the reference is repeated a second time at the end of the report, where the officer refers to "Mr. Reynolds and his wife."

Bedford police, according to TMZ, said the officer who took the report may have assumed the couple, who met while filming 2011's “Green Lantern,” were husband and wife.

TMZ said sources close to Lively have denied that the two are married.
