Pleasantville's Handbell Choir, Katonah Celebration Ringers Team Up In Show

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The handbell choir from the Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pleasantville partnered with the Katonah Celebration Ringers from the First Presbyterian Church for the 26th annual Handbell Benefit Concert on Sunday, Dec. 15, according to theexminernews.com.

The show raised money for the Schoharie Area Long Term, a nonprofit currently helping Westchester County residents affected by Hurricane Irene in 2011, the article said.

The Pleasantville choir is separated into three separate age groups including one for elementary students. The middle and high school group will play in an international festival next summer, according to the article.
