Somers Woman Killed in Crash

ARMONK, N.Y. — A Somers woman and a North White Plains man have been identified as the victims in the two fatal accidents Saturday in North Castle.

At 9:18 a.m., Kimberly Figa, 23, of Somers, was involved in one car accident near 25 Hickory Pass, in Banksville. She was driving a 2011 Mercedes. She was pronounced dead at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco.

At 10:22, Elbert Jourdy, 61, of North White Plains died after he was involved in a two car collision with a 35-year-old male from Katonah at the intersection of NY Route 120 and Airport Road in Armonk near the Westchester County Airport. Jourdy was driving a 2003 Mercury and the Katonah man was driving a Ford pickup truck. The Katonah man was treated at Northern Westchester Hospital and released. He was not identified.

New York State Police and the Harrison Police Department assisted with roadway closures while the accident was processed and Route 120 south of the airport was closed for a few hours on Saturday afternoon.
