Wednesday will be cooler with more rain and much heavier wind. Temperatures aren't expected to break 60 degrees in the area with wind gusts out of the north up to 40 mph. Chance of rain is 80 percent.

Wet fallen leaves can make for slippery road conditions and could slow drainage in storm drains and block up small streams and other waterways.

Traces of the costal storm will linger on Thursday with temperatures in the high 50s and a few scattered showers. Winds will be calmer with gusts up to 18 mph.

Conditions will be clear by Friday with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 60s.
