BEDFORD, N.Y. – Bedford school officials are cautiously optimistic that all schools could have electric power and reopen Monday.
Officials issued a statement Friday evening that stated, "As of today, Friday, Mt. Kisco Elementary School and Bedford Hills Elementary School will be open for students Monday. We should know more about all others over the weekend depending on whether or not power is restored."
In addition, they said, Tuesday, Nov. 6, which was scheduled as superintendent's conference day, will now be a student attendance instructional day for any schools that are powered up and open.
