Meters in Mt. Kisco Turned Off for Holiday Season

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. —Often considered one of the shopping centers of northern Westchester, Mount Kisco has been making it easier for its visitors and residents to shop locally during the holiday season.

Until New Year's Day, the metered parking spaces in downtown Mount Kisco are free of charge, including the one hour, two hour, and four hour spots. The 12-hour spots, however, are not included and will be “strictly enforced” said the town on its website.

The village board, though, agreed to provide free all-day parking in the North Moger lot for employees of downtown businesses, and those employees who have not done so already can get free permits from the Tax Receiver’s office at 914-864-0034.
