KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Katonah Fire Department's 141st annual parade brought a sizable crowd to the hamlet on Wednesday evening, as firefighters and musical groups from across the region marched through downtown.

Aside from Katonah firefighters, participating fire departments included cross-town neighbors Bedford Hills and Bedford; South Salem, Vista and Golden's Bridge from the town of Lewisboro; Somers; Croton Falls; Mount Kisco; Pound Ridge; Chappaqua; Armonk; Pleasantvile; Ossining; Yorktown Heights; Brewster; Carmel; Mahopac; Patterson; Putnam Valley; Danbury; New Canaan; Ridgefield; Stamford; and Mamaroneck.
The carnival, which is held behind the Katonah firehouse, is set to continue through Saturday, June 6.
