Slippery road conditions due to freezing rain were reported in northern Westchester Monday morning.
A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Road conditions are slippery, particularly on untreated areas. Motorists are advised to exercise caution.
The forecast calls for freezing rain to give way to all rain mid-Monday morning as temperatures rise to the middle 30's.
Numerous school districts were operating on a 2-hour delay.
