Grass Fizzles in Summer Sizzle in Bedford

Despite the scorchingly high temperatures in Bedford Wednesday, residents were out and about, mowing lawns and doing contracting work.

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning, an Excessive Heat Watch and an Air Quality Alert through Friday.

The soaring temperatures coupled with the high humidity could make it feel well above 100 degrees over the next few days. Officials remind people to limit their outdoor activities if possible and if they must be outside to try and limit their activities to mornings and evenings.
