Former Bedford Condo Manager Gets Five Years For Stealing Funds

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Peter Iovino, 57, has been sentenced to five years in prison for allegedly stealing money from a Bedford condo association and using it for gambling, among other things, according to a LoHud report.

Iovino secured a bank loan of $150,000 without consent and also used the association's debit card to withdraw almost $140,000, according to the article.

His scheme fell apart after the bank contacted the Bedford Terrace Condo Association about a missed payment on the loan, the article said.
