PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A multi-vehicle accident on the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley caused heavy delays in both directions during the afternoon commute Monday.
The accident, reported at 5:45 p.m., was between Bryant Pond Road and Peekskill Hollow Road and blocked the shoulder.
There were stop-and-go traffic conditions in both directions.
