Puglisi has requested the re-evaluation because of the natural gas line’s close proximity to Entergy’s two operational nuclear plants at Indian Point.

The existing gas line would be rerouted 500 to 1,000 feet away at various spots and expanded from a 26-inch pipe to a 42-inch pipe, with an increase of 25 percent in pressure, Puglisi said in a press release.
