BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. -- Bedford's Town Board has scheduled an executive session to interview candidates for the Planning Board and the Blue Mountain Housing Development Corporation.
The executive session, which is closed to the public, is set for Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
The interviews are being done due to a pair of vacancies.
The Planning Board handles key land-use reviews and approvals for development proposals. The Blue Mountain Housing Development Corporation is affiliated with the town and focuses on affordable housing.
Letters and resumes are currently being accepted by the town, which can be sent to email@example.com and have a deadline for by noon on Aug. 17.
A notice for the vacancies states a preference for architectural or engineering experience for the Planning Board seat. For the housing corporation, desired experience includes being an owner or property manager who has worked with repairs and maintenance.
