BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. -- The Bedford Town Board unanimously approved a nearly $1 million, 40-year bond to finance a water project for the Roosevelt Drive neighborhood.

The bond's exact amount is $977,611, according to the approval resolution. The Town Board approved the bond at its Jan. 6 meeting.

Included in the resolution is a 20-day estoppel period, after which the resolution will take effect. The bond does not require a permissive referendum for approval.

The Roosevelt Drive Neighborhood Water Improvement project involves extending municipal water into the area previously approved by the Town Board, according to town records.

A copy of the water project bond resolution is available here.
