The bank is looking to move into vacant space at 18 Woods Bridge Road, according to the Bedford Planning Board agenda.

The property is owned by Katonah Retail Properties L.L.C. and was initially granted site plan approval in 2005, according to the Planning Board. Katonah Retail Properties is looking for an amendment to the site plan.

According to a letter submitted to the planning board by Peter Helmes, of The Helmes Group, the architect for the project, plans include removing a section of fence on the property, installing two air conditioning compressor units, and making minor lightning adjustments to ensure the ATMs meet the New York State Banking Department ATM Safety Act.

Helmes also requested permission to remove a dead two-inch tree and replace it with a new tree to not obstruct any lightning.

"It is my understanding that Jeffrey Ostman, director of planning, will determine any escrow fees required by the Town of Bedford for this second amendment request," Helmes said. "Once the fees have been determined, we will make arrangements to have them paid."

Katonah Retail Properties acquired the 2,560 square foot site earlier this year from Stamford-based Rex Realty in Connecticut.
