Bedford Hills/Mt. Kisco Massage Envy Spa Opens

BEDFORD, N.Y. — Now shoppers can get broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl, a new pair of platforms for summer and a massage all within a few hundred feet’s walking distance. Massage Envy is the latest business to make its home at Bedford Green on 117 Shopping Center, alongside Shoprite, Marshall's Shoe Shop, Panera Bread and CVS.

The Mt. Kisco Chamber of Commerce and State Sen. Greg Ball were at 737 Bedford Road Saturday morning for the Bedford Hills/Mt. Kisco Massage Envy's grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“I think people in general are very excited that we’re here,” said owner Ellen Samra.

The spa, which had its soft opening last week, was offering free chair massages outside the store, with music, balloons and giveaways. The grand opening had a Hawaiian theme.

“When you come here you feel like you’re going on vacation,” said Samra, who co-owns the Bedford Hills branch with her husband Kamil, of Piermont, and business partners Mary Jane and Gary Blum.

Samra said their location has 13 therapy rooms and four facial rooms. The spa employs professional, licensed massage therapists and estheticians to offer the customer different relaxing and energy-renewing treatments. Massage styles range from Swedish to deep-tissue to hot stone to trigger point to sports massage.

The facials use Murad Healthy Skin products, which are created from a clinical skincare formula that is designed to protect skin cells and reduce signs of aging.

The new operation is offering two Mother’s Day specials: a massage, facial and aromatherapy package and a three-month mini-membership. The spa also offers guest introductory treatments: a $59 hour-long massage session or a facial session for $69.

There are over 700 Massage Envy spas around the country, with two other locations in Westchester, both of which are in Scarsdale.

To make an appointment at the new Bedford Hills/Mt. Kisco location, call (914) 244-3689 or go to their website. Spa hours are Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
