BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Free Library announced that Field Goods, a farm-share organization, will now be delivering produce once a week.
Food that is delivered can be picked up on Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the library adds. A subscription service will be used for participants, which costs $17.50 per week, although the cost depends on size.
The library notes that on dollar of the weekly subscription fee will go to it as a fundraiser.
"You can start and stop or put your delivery on hold any time you wish," the library's announcement states. "Your share will include some recipes for the items in your bag."
Information about how to order is available on the library's website.
