- Stephanie Cowell, 20, from Bedford and Caitlin Walsh, 20, of Armonk were arrested on Sunday morning by New York state police after being stopped on Interstate 684.
- New York State Police arrested a Somers woman and charged her with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.
- Hero dog, Nero, that saved Northern Westchester family from fire found dead.
- Lewisboro residents came together to Protest to save Lewisboro Elementary School. If Katonah-Lewisboro closes Lewisboro Elementary School, 134 students will be transferred to Meadow Pond.
- The train that derailed Sunday morning in the Bronx was traveling at 82 miles per hour when it went over a curve, National Transportation Safety Board member Earl Weener said at a press conference Monday afternoon at the Hampton Inn in Yonkers.
