KATONAH, N.Y. -- Virginia M. Satkowski, of Katonah, died Feb. 18 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow. She was 65.
Daughter of the late William J. and Sheila Boyle, she was born Sep. 22, 1946 in Hempstead, N.Y. Satkowski recently retired as a guidance counselor from Somers High School.
Satkowski was a member of the Westchester Putnam College Conference Committee and previously worked at Cornwall High School in Cornwall, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Al Satkowski, her daughter Rebecca (Arioch) Griffiths, her son Scott Satkowski and two grandsons.
Callings hours are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Katonah.
