Bedford Says Hello to Spring

KATONAH, N.Y. -- Spring started on Wednesday, and temperatures this week have been true to the new season, hovering in the 60s and 70s and even reaching 76 degrees at the height of Thursday afternoon.

The day before the first day of spring was also warm and sunny, making for a lovely day in downtown Katonah.

Livia Pearce of Mount Kisco and her friend Sloane Davis of Yorktown sat enjoying lunch at outside tables at Peppino’s restaurant.

Peppino's invites its guests to sit in their outdoor dining area and observe the town's attractive shops and tree-lined streets from a great vantage point.
