BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Free Library wrapped up its childrens summer program in style Tuesday.
The library had a party inspired by its One World, Many Stories summer reading program, which is aimed at introducing different cultures to children. About 50 children showed up to the event, which featured cuisine from Africa, Italy, Greece and Asia.
A variety of board games and crafts were also available for children to play.
The One World, Many Stories, program was tailored to children from three to five-years-old and students in first through fifth grades. The program featured activities and lesson covering the Netherlands, Latin America, Africa, Mediterranean countries and Asia.
Although the summer program has ended, the library will continue to have other reading programs through August.
