Free Program Focusing On Living With Cancer Set For Northern Westchester

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown's Support Connection, Inc. is sponsoring a free program at the Somers Public Library called  “Managing Anxiety and Stress For the Holidays and Year Round: For Those Living With Cancer."

The talk is open to people living with breast, ovarian and gynecological cancers. Judy Lake Chessa, LMSW, Coordinator of the Anxiety and Phobia Center at White Plains Hospital, and Patty Vaughn, RN and certified Anxiety Counselor, will be the speakers.

It takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 6;30 to 8 p.m. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period. Call (914)-962-6402 or (800)-532-4290 to register.

The library is on  82 Primrose St. (Route 139) in Somers.
