A brief sampling of where to get your green on follows. Feel free to add your own favorites to our Facebook page or in our comments. After all, we're all a wee bit (or a whole lot!) Irish on St. Paddy's Day.

Brodie's Pub, Mohegan Lake: Step dancers, pipe bands and balladeers are expected to make appearances starting at noon on St. Patrick's Day. Corned beef and cabbage and Irish Soda Bread will be served all month but on Friday, March 17 you'll be treated to complimentary Irish coffee. Go Green: 3262 E Main St., (914) 528-1614.

City Limits, White Plains: Expect classic specials all day Friday, March 17 such as corned beef and cabbage and Irish soda bread, the latter of which is available for purchase to go for celebrating at home. Go Green: 200 Central Ave., (914) 686-9000.

Emma's Ale House, White Plains: Enjoy the luck of the Irish at Emma's with a special menu that includes corned beef sliders, Shepard’s pie, corned beef on rye, and a Guinness float drink with Irish ice cream. Sláinte! Go Green: 68 Gedney Way, (914) 683-3662.

Frankie & Fanucci’s, Mamaroneck, Hartsdale: Yes, we know a pizza place may not be what pops into your mind come March 17, but Frankie & Fanucci's is pairing Irish food with its authentic, thin-crust pizza until Sunday, March 19, at both of its locations. The pizza is made with traditional St. Patrick’s Day favorites -- think braised corned beef and cabbage, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized onions, roasted carrots, swiss cheese and whole grain mustard. Go Green: 301 Mamaroneck Ave., Mamaroneck, (914) 630-4360 and 202 E. Hartsdale Ave., Hartsdale, (914) 725-8400.

J.P. Doyle’s, Sleepy Hollow: Corned beef and cabbage, Guinness Irish stew, and Shepard’s Pie are guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit. Go Green: 48 Beekman Ave., (914) 631-3015.

McShane's Public House, Port Chester: The owners of McShane's are originally from Cork and Donegal, Ireland so you know the food and drinks are authentic here. On the menu: Irish pub grub albeit with a gourmet twist -- think spiced lamb sliders with roast tomato salsa, country cottage pie with braised short rib, a corned beef Reuben and McShane's fish and chips. And, oh yeah, lots of Guinness, as well as a host of craft beers. Go Green: 23 N Main St., Port Chester, (914) 937-7800.

Molly, Mickey, Maggie Spillane's, Mount Vernon, Mamaroneck, Eastchester: There's always a lively spirit in the air at the Spillane family of restaurants. Head to Maggie's on Friday, March 17  for a live performance by the Pipes and Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester County. There will also be Guinness promotions and giveaways and DJ Messiah starting at 6 p.m. Lots of food and drinks specials at the other locales. Go Green: Maggie Spillane’s, 571 Gramatan Ave, Mount Vernon, (914) 699-8900, www.maggiespillanes.com; Molly Spillane’s, 211 Mamaroneck Ave., Mamaroneck, (914) 899-3130; www.mollyspillanes.com; Mickey Spillane's 431 White Plains Rd., Eastchester,  (914) 395- 3838, www.mickeyspillanes.com.
