What's Open Or Closed On Labor Day In Bedford

BEDFORD, N.Y.-- Monday is Labor Day, a state and federal holiday, which means most municipal buildings will be closed, as well as some businesses.

The Bedford Town House and other government buildings, the Bedford Central School District buildings, the Katonah-Lewisboro School District buildings, banks, post offices and the town's three libraries will be closed on Monday.

However, luckily for children who want to take one last dip before school starts on Tuesday, the town's pools will be open in Katonah, Bedford and Bedford Hills Memorial Parks from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.

As for grocery stores, Shoprite in Bedford Hills is open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the A&P in Katonah is open for regular hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
