Friday, Dec. 14

Story Time in The Barn: 4 p.m. The Bedford Post Inn is teaming up with local librarians for a holiday story time in front of the fireplace. Children of all ages are welcome. The price of $10 will include hot chocolate and cookies. Bedford Post Inn, 954 Old Post Road, Bedford.

Hanukkah Shabbat Service and Dinner: 6:30 p.m. This free event features magic entertainment for kids, a capella choir performances and Indian cuisine from Shalom Bombay. This holiday event is sponsored by Mark and Mara Epstein. Chabad of Bedford, 133 Railroad Ave., Bedford Hills.

A Holiday Evening with Sloan Wainwright and Friends: 8 p.m. Join the Sloan Wainwright Band for an evening of holiday performances featuring The Grand Slambovians, Pete Malvineri, Afua Monk Addo and Sam McTavey. Wainwright is an artist known for her rich contralto voice, personal lyrics and an innovative approach to song. A member of the highly acclaimed musical Wainwright family, she is Loudon Wainwright’s sister and aunt to Rufus, Martha and Lucy Wainwright. Bedford Presbyterian Church, Village Green, Bedford.

Sunday. Dec. 16

27th Antique Stocking Stuffers Show & Sale: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come check out antique and estate silver plus antiques and collectibles able to fit a holiday stocking. Up to 70 dealers from eight states offering antique, estate and vintage costume jewelry will be in attendance at Sunday's event. Spend the day looking through thousands of treasures not available in a retail store. Food will be available at this benefit for the John Jay High School PTO. Cost is $7. Dedication of Memorial Tree For Justice Kevin Quaranta: 1:30 p.m. Come to the Bedford Town House Sunday to honor the late justice who touched the lives of so many in town. Bedford Town House, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills.
