What We Really Know About Suicide and Medications: 9:30 a.m. At this lecture concerning the public health problem of suicide, Kelly Posner, director and principal investigator at Columbia University's Center for Suicide Risk Assessment, will discuss the center's rating scale, which is designed to conclusively identify at-risk individuals who may have otherwise been missed. Oktoberfest on the Patio: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bedford Post Inn celebrates Oktoberfest with lunch, beer and traditional German music. Bedford Post Inn, Old Post Road, Bedford.
Yoga Flash Mob: 1 p.m. Help to bring awareness to childhood sexual abuse by participating in a yoga flash mob. Abuse victims often separate their mind and body, and yoga is a vehicle that heals that connection.
