BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Methodist Church in Katonah will be hosting a "Death Cafe" on Saturday March 5 from 3 to 5 p.m.

The Death Cafe is an international movement to bring people together to discuss death in a relaxed and safe environment complimented by cookies, tea and coffee. The objective is to remove the taboo and increase awareness of the views people have of death and life.

There is no preregistration, fee or religious requirement to participate. A donation is appreciated to help fund future Death Cafe events. In Northern Westchester, Death Cafe is sponsored by local residents including Hans Hallundbaek, Judy Hill, Remy Hosp, Molly Huppuch, Jerome Kerner and Barbara Sarah.
