Those who wish to help will assist the Land Trust in hiking and clearing the seldom-used wooded preserve. Plenty of light work is available for both adults and kids.
The group will meet at the church, Route 123 in South Salem, at the intersection of Elmwood Road. Participants are asked to bring garden/work gloves, along with clippers and rakes, if possible.
The Land Trust will have extra tools available for those who do not have their own.
Refreshments will be served around 4:30 p.m. For more information, contact the project’s leader, Bobbe Stultz, at bobbestultz@gmail.com.
