Learn About Ferns At Westchester Land Trust Walk In Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Westchester Land Trust will hold a field walk with Fernando Matos from the New York Botanical Gardens on Aug. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve.

During the walk, hikers will learn about the life cycle, ecology and evolution of ferns and how to identify them. The preserve is home to 17 species of ferns.
