John Carter - The Movie

On Friday, August 24, the sci-fi adventure movie John Carter (PG-13; 132 min.) will be shown at the Katonah Village Library at 3:15 pm. Who is John Carter? John Carter is an ex-Confederate officer turned gold prospector who suddenly finds himself transferred from Earth to the planet Mars and plopped in the middle of a war. The movie is action-packed, sweeping and fun. It is directed by Andrew Stanton (won Oscars for Finding Nemo and WALL-E). Open to the public. This film is recommended for ages 13 and up.
