Katonah Library Hosting Screenings Of Oscar Nominated Short Films

KATONAH, N.Y. – The 2014 Academy Award nominated short films will be screened at the Katonah Library beginning with live-action short films on Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Animated short films will be presented on Feb. 6 and the series will conclude with documentary short films on Feb. 28. Each session begins at 7:30 p.m.

Nominated short films include “Aya,” “The Bigger Picture” and “CitizenFour.” For a full list of nominees, visit Oscar.go.

Attendees are welcomed to stay after each screening for refreshments and discussions of their favorite films.

This film series is presented by the Katonah Village Improvement Society.
