Based on the Duke Integrative Medicine evidence-based model, “What the Health Is Going On” is a four-part program that introduces participants to the process of health planning. Recognizing that without a wellness plan one’s health is at risk, this program covers the process of health behavior changes like quitting smoking or losing winter weight as well as training for spring and summer marathons.

Classes are taught by Deirdre Breen, a Duke certified integrative health coach and chair of KVIS’ Katonah Inspired Committee that designs programs to promote healthy living in and around Katonah.

There is a materials fee of $30 for the Duke IM Personal Health Planning manual. Preregistration is required. To register, call Maura Rosenthal at (914)-232-3508.

The library is at 26 Bedford Road in Katonah.
