KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps (KBHVAC) announced that it will hold an open house on Sunday, May 15.

"The event coincides with the start of National EMS Week, which brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide front line emergency services," KBHVAC notes in its announcement.

KBHVAC added that it will offer ambulance tours, games, food, traffic-safety demonstrations, blood-pressure screenings and an extrication drill.

Additionally, KHBVAC notes that its newest ambulance will be introduced. The new vehicle will be named in honor of a member, KBHVAC adds.
