Aaron Parsons, 43, was arrested in South Paris, Maine, on a charge of being a fugitive from justice, police said.
Parsons was wanted in connection with the death of Sarah Dorany, 29, of Fitchburg, who died on March 13. He is accused of manslaughter and sexual asault.
Police found the victim in a room at the Verb Hotel in Boston, Boylston Street. They were responding to a report of a cardiac arrest, police said. They found Dornay unresponsive, police said. She later died due to strangulation.
The family started looking for Dorany on March 14. They said she went to Boston to visit friends.
On July 28, Dornay’s death was ruled a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner.
