“Divorce Options” is a series of workshops set for Fishkill, Poughkeepsie and White Plains this fall.
They are being conducted by members of the nonprofit community organization, Hudson Valley Collaborative Divorce and Dispute Resolution Association.
Participants can use the basic knowledge and unbiased information they gain there to understand and navigate the often-overwhelming process of divorce. Topics include: peaceful divorce through mediation, collaborative or cooperative divorce and court litigation.
The workshops also will help divorcing spouses deal with issues of guilt, anger and grief, and to move forward with their transition from married to single life.
The cost for each three-hour workshop is $45 (cash or check, no credit cards) at the door or $40 at Eventbrite.com.
To get tickets on Eventbrite.com, first search for your area (Fishkill, White Plains or Poughkeepsie), scroll down the list until you find “Divorce Options” and then click “tickets.”
