The luncheon is sponsored by Barrett Bookstore and will take place at Wee Burn Country Club. To commemorate the organization’s 20-year anniversary, former Opus president and local author Holly Hurd will serve as keynote speaker.

Hurd is the author of the book "Venture Mom: From Idea to Income in Twelve Weeks." She will share her easy-to-follow formula to help moms increase their earning power by recognizing the market value of something they already love to do.

Proceeds from the benefit will go to the Opus Balloons for Campers Day. This annual event raises money for Person-to-Person’s Campership program, which helps send nearly 500 Stamford public elementary school students from low-income families to summer camp each year.

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person and include lunch and a signed copy of Hurd’s book. Tickets are now available to purchase on the Opus for Person-to-Person website. Tables of 10 are also available for purchase.

This event is open to the public. For more information on the Opus Luncheon Honoring Alumnae please contact Christa FitzPatrick at christafitz@gmail.com or Alex Eising at aeising517@gmail.com.
