In "The Scarlet Pimpernel," Marguerite St. Just and Nobleman Sir Percy Blakeney marry -- before Percy finds out that his wife has betrayed his friend, the Marquis, sentencing him to the guillotine. To make amends for his friend's death, Percy assumes the identity of "the Scarlet Pimpernel," saving others from the same fate and feigning foppishness as a disguise.

"Get ready for a swashbuckling musical theatre adventure complete with a working guillotine, French aristocrats and the most moving and passionate musical score by composer Frank Wildhorn," a press release notes.

Performances will be on weekends in March, beginning on the 4th and running through the 20th. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Rhino Theatre is located at 247 Wanaque Ave., in Pompton Lakes.
